EnSoCo demonstrates spatial data management design

EnSoCo is demonstrating a new Spatial Data Management design to address positional data collection,
file type, format and geodetic classifications, and organization.  Data can then be presented to EnSoCo's
Geodetic Utilities for translation, transformation and process setup to perform correlation with other assets
(e.g. seismic attributes) using MatchMaker and MatchMaker Spatial in preparation for positional
data loading,  The system can either front-end an existing seismic data management system or can be used
in conjunction with EnSoCo's new Spatial Data Management System; being jointly developed and designed
    with Integrated Informatics Inc.

Please contact EnSoCo to setup up a demonstration of the design and service we are offering.

    NEWS – October, 2010

EnSoCo along with Spatial Energy and Surdex Corporation present a paper at the fall APSG
meeting pointing out the benefits of using high resolution imagery for performing well location
audits.  The paper showcased errors in well locations by showing photo identifiable well heads
and, or well pads relative to the recorded positions.  Two areas in Illinois and Texas were evaluated
yielding results showing miss-locations exceeding hundreds of feet in many cases.  For a copy of
the paper, please visit the Americas Petroleum Survey Group website at APSG . Other benefits
from using high resolution imagery and Lidar data were shown.

EnSoCo successfully completes pilot evaluation for Anadarko

EnSoCo has completed a pilot evaluation for Anadarko testing its ability to automate the QC, matching, SEG-P1
generation and loading of 2D navigation data.  Following completion and evaluation EnSoCo has been awarded
an initial large scale data loading project involving approximately 25,000 navigation lines.  EnSoCo is utilizing its
newly developed MatchMaker software to guarantee correlation with existing seismic assets.

    EnSoCo announces MatchMaker software

EnSoCo in conjunction with Integrated Informatics have completed development of a new tool to perform
correlation between seismic and navigation attributes called MatchMaker.  With the tool, we are able to review
seismic line names and attributes for possible matches to navigation line names and attributes.  One aspect of
building a complete seismic data management system is merging the navigation positioning data with the seismic
information. This is often difficult; especially in legacy 2D data due to the differences in line naming conventions,
shot point ranges and other indirectly correlated attributes.  MatchMaker utilizes multiple matching schemas to find
exact and probable matches in comparing two different data sources.  The software also uses a “Directed
Mapping” approach to allow the user to spatially compare lines; which may have multiple full or partial attribute
matches. Items such as contractor, year of acquisition, type of acquisition are used as additional criteria for
identifying possible matches. Inputs can be any combination of ASCII navigation data, spreadsheets, shapefiles or
    database exports.

Contact EnSoCo for a demonstration of MatchMaker capabilities.

EnSoCo enters into a strategic alliance

EnSoCo has entered into a strategic alliance with Integrated Informatics, Inc. , a Canadian based software
development company with offices in Calgary and Houston, Texas.  EnSoCo has contracted Integrated Informatics
to develop a number of ArcGIS plug-ins in support of its processing requirements during the past year and will
extend this relationship to include future products and joint developments; including EnSoCo’s proprietary
    Coordinate Data Mining software.

    NEWS – May, 2010

EnSoCo announces Coordinate Data Mining at APSG

EnSoCo presented a paper on Coordinate Data Mining at the spring meeting of the Americas Petroleum Survey
Group (www.APSG.info ). The paper was part of a series of presentations on adding value to positioning assets in
spatial data management.  Copies of the presentations are available to APSG members via the APSG website.
EnSoCo intends to offer data mining services later this summer following testing and completion of the software.

EnSoCo completes 2D seismic study for a major oil company

EnSoCo has completed a study of legacy land 2D line accuracy using high resolution imagery and Digital Terrain
Model data (DTM).  Selected 2D lines were posted on high resolution imagery with highly accurate DTM contours
to evaluate positional accuracy of vintage 2D seismic positioning.  The imagery was provided by Spatial Energy at
sub-meter resolution along with 5 meter DTM elevation data. Evidence of miss-positioning was demonstrated in
both visual photo-identifiable features as well as elevation misties to the original legacy survey results.  EnSoCo
employed fly-through movie technology to follow long regional 2D lines in a highly mountainous environment.  The
benefit of using high resolution imagery and DTM data was successfully demonstrated as a means of validating
    positional information.

EnSoCo completes pilot study with Spatial Energy

EnSoCo has completed a well accuracy study for a major oil company in conjunction with Spatial Energy using
high resolution satellite and aerial imagery.  EnSoCo was tasked with identifying and classifying well locations
based on photo-identification.  Using ground control stations to verify ortho-rectification and geodetic accuracy,
well features were compared to stated well locations.  Additionally other culture such as roads, legacy imagery
and DTM data were used to compile confidence and accuracy of the wells. Deliverables included well
identification, confidence with respect to photo-identifiable features, well access from major roads and a
    geospatial database with results.

EnSoCo enters into pilot study with Surdex

EnSoCo and Surdex have entered into a pilot study using high resolution aerial imagery and LIDAR data obtained
in Madison County, Illinois.  The project will entail evaluating photo-identifiable objects and classifying content
(wells, pipelines, roads, parcels) and their accuracy and confidence with respect to current information within the
county.  In exchange for providing the pilot results to the county, EnSoCo and Surdex will utilize the data to
demonstrate the benefits of high resolution imagery and LIDAR in Oil and Gas GIS operations to our respective
    clients.

EnSoCo awarded 3D project by ExxonMobil

EnSoCo has been awarded a large marine 3D navigation re-processing project for a legacy 3D survey.  The
project will involve re-processing raw sensor information recorded on legacy field recorded raw navigation tapes.
EnSoCo will also provide seismic first break picking and incorporation within the final network adjustment runs.
We will also employ our proprietary pseudo compass modeling for enhanced streamer shaping.
